New interface, Anti-Cheat 32-bit deprecation, Hub improvements, and more.
Hey all! It’s that time again! The development teams at FACEIT have been crunching it to ship you great new features and improvements on the platform.

FACEIT has a new look

We’ve been hard at work developing a slick new User Interface for you on FACEIT.com. For those who use the desktop client, you’ll be familiar with it. We’ve iterated on the UI for some time now and we’re happy to fully launch it to everyone.
We know that there are still things to improve and we have a backlog of work planned to address the concerns from the feedback we’ve received from you so far.
The fun begins now and we want your help! Head over to our community forums and submit what you would like us to improve.
Insidia launches on FACEIT
We welcome our latest game title available on FACEIT: Insidia!
Bad Seed’s new free-to-play, turn-based, tactical game pits two players against each other with rosters of four Champions ranging from Tanks and Assassins to Supports and Specialists. Players must choose every move carefully to be the first to infiltrate their opponent’s base and sabotage it!
32-bit Anti-Cheat client is deprecated
We’re really proud of the hard work put into our own Anti-Cheat system which has cleaned up a large amount of cheaters on FACEIT.
To allow us to make the platform even better, we need to remove the support for the 32-bit client
32-bit systems are at a low usage on FACEIT as 64-bit systems have become the norm today. It won’t make much sense to maintain both clients. We see a positive effect of removing 32-bit support which will make it harder for people to circumvent the protection.
For those who still use the 32-bit client, we urge you to upgrade the client or your whole system as soon as possible.
We will allow the 32-bit client to work for 3 months before we shut down the support fully.
Configure party limits to your queue
You have a popular Hub and you’ve done a great job at cleaning out the abusive players. Problem is: you want make queue changes but don’t want to lose all those bans. Don’t worry! We’ve got you covered. Go ahead and change or delete your queue. All your bans will still be active in your Hub.

Unsolved ticket notification bubble visible on Hub navigation
With thousands of matches being played on Hubs every day, players sometimes need an Organizer’s attention to restart or cancel the match. Monitoring live tickets was hard without receiving a visual indication about players requesting help from a match room. A red bubble on the admin menu will now highlight that there are unsolved live issues to be taken care of.
Hub invite and leave menu now always found on navigation
Your feedback suggested that joining a Hub was easy, but leaving and sharing a hub was not. To help you to only keep your favourites and share them with friends, you can now always find the Hub actions to leave and share on the Hub’s navigation menu next to the overview.
Bug Fixes & Misc
- Fixed matches stuck on aborted.
- Fixed issue sometimes counting match result twice on leaderboards.
- Added confirmation dialogue when leaving a Hub.
- Added confirmation dialogue when deleting a leaderboard.
- Fixed issue when users didn’t see the Hub chat on login.
- Fixed issue redirecting you to a blank page when not a member of the Hub.
- Leaderboards now properly react to manual match changes post-game.
